Trades Assistant

Seeking the “Right” candidate to fulfill a casual/full time role. Permanent position will be available after a successful trial period.

Upspec Patios and Sheds is a successful, family owned and growing home improvements construction company based in Western Sydney. We have a varied client base, working with residential clients to commercial/business owners. Each day is different from the last, working from Commercial Sheds, Rural Sheds, Residential Sheds, Residential Carports and Patios.

What Upspec is looking for?

A self-starter with a positive attitude. We require someone who is a great communicator and is a great problem solver who is ready for a challenge. To be ready and willing to work in the outdoors who is confident with power tools and working at heights. Drivers licence and access to own transport is required.

We are looking for someone who values a long-term career and is looking for stable wages, super and paid overtime.

Metal Roofer

Upspec Patios and Sheds is a highly successful and reputable construction company. Upspec Patios and Sheds is based out of the Western Sydney area and services the Sydney Metro, Western Sydney and the Blue Mountain areas. Upspec is an expanding company with a close-knit group of hard-working employees. We are looking to hire an experienced metal roofer to join the team.

· White Card

· Drivers licence/ reliable transport

· Working at heights and EWP (Preferred)

· Metal roofing experience is essential

· Permanent Residency is essential (no working/studying visas)

About the role-

· The role involves exposure to all elements of metal roofing from small to complex residential, rural and commercial sheds, patios and carports

· Comfortable with safe lifting practices/ manual handling

· A proven employment history of reliability and punctuality

· Supply of own tools and vehicle

· Be well presented with a “can-do attitude”

· Ability to read & interpret drawings/plans
